Key Responsibilities (Missions)
Operational Leadership: Assist the Plant Manager in directing daily plant operations, ensuring alignment between production schedules, quality standards, and budget targets.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Seamlessly integrate and guide the production, engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and maintenance departments to maximize overall efficiency.
HSE & Compliance: Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols to maintain a zero-incident workplace and ensure full compliance with regulatory standards.
Continuous Improvement: Spearhead Lean manufacturing initiatives, process optimization, and cost-reduction programs to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
People & Team Development: Mentor, evaluate, and develop department heads and floor managers, cultivating a collaborative and highly accountable workforce.
Performance Monitoring: Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyze production metrics, and prepare strategic reports for executive leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements (Profil recherché)
Education: Master’s Degree or Engineering Degree (Bac+5) in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 7 to 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in plant operations or manufacturing management, ideally within the automotive, heavy industry, or battery manufacturing sector.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of modern manufacturing practices, Lean methodologies (Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen), and supply chain principles.
Core Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisive, high-stakes decisions in a fast-paced environment. Proven track record of managing large, diverse teams.
Languages: Full professional proficiency in English and French is mandatory to communicate effectively with local teams and international stakeholders.
